Country Living Fair

THE fair to beat all fairs is coming again this weekend... Columbus is fortunate to call itself the host city for the Country Living Fair, third year in a row. What!? You haven't been? It's fab and you simply gotta go. It's all country and beyond- and the good kind o' country (for the most part). Sophisticated, crafty and antique chic.

Artisans from far and near, and lots of local venues bring out their wares and welcome Fall in a big way. Our newest Short North neighbor Bloomsbury Loft will be there and they have been oh so gracious and have invited us to bring a few goodies of our own to place in their booth. If you haven't been to this shop - it's a new Short North must do... (more about them in a later post).

Back to the Fair: Lots of How To's / Demos by the Editors of the magazine - see the entire schedule here.

Directions to The Ohio Village, here.

Beautiful Baby Shower

This summer we worked on the invitation and accessories for a beautiful Baby Shower. The event was planned from Kentucky, invites made here by On Paper in Ohio and the actual shower was at the beautiful Lorien Hotel and Spa in Alexandria, just outside of D.C.

We were thrilled to be able to design and produce the stationery accessories for our discerning client who believes that the invitation is one of THE most important details of the event.

I especially love her signature detail- the first line of the invitation should always be about the guest of honor. What a gracious tribute and added personal touch!

The flowers, by The Enchanted Florist, were also lovely and a perfect compliment to our accessories. Flora details: Femma Roses, Viburnum berry, Mokara Orchids, and White Hydrangea- gorgeous!!

Civilettes by Greer

It's SO fun when a fellow stationery creates a lovely little line and makes it available to other fellow stationers to sell. Such is the case with "Civilettes" designed by Chandra Greer from Greer stationers in Chicago.

Chandra has a beautiful, cool and On Paper sympatico stationery shop in Old Town. We love just about everything she sells (and sell much of the same!). Her clever Civilettes are a nod to random acts of kindness and encourage the user to give a kind word, an apropos apology, or a quick I love you via a mini card to a welcome recipient.

There are 10 miniature cards per pack, available in 4 sentiments: I love you, I'm sorry, Good Job and Thank You. Great price too: $6.50 per pack. We've already sold out of our first order- so these babies are popular! Just received more today--- so stop in and pick up a pack!
